Elizabeth McGuire

Hi, I’m Liz! I’m a photographer whose work captures the small moments that tell the big stories of life.

With a keen eye, big heart and easy laugh, I work with families and organizations to help tell their stories in powerful, personal ways. My favorite projects weave together a love of community and creativity. I began my career as a writer who shoots photos, and evolved into a photographer who tells stories.

Along with countless families and individuals, I have worked with numerous businesses and non-profits. My work has been featured in print, online and even on the side of a bus! In 2017 I created the Sibling Revelry Project, an ongoing photography project capturing the spirit of siblinghood through images and interviews.

I am also a 7th-generation Texan who loves boots but somehow not barbecue. My spirit animal is a Labrador puppy—when I don’t get enough exercise or fresh air, I start chewing on the furniture.
My family and I live in Austin.
